Eskor received his BA in English and American Literature from Harvard University and an MFA in Fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. His teaching experience extends more than ten years, including roles as a tutor, middle school English teacher, and a professor of Creative Writing at the University of Iowa.
“Eskor was an amazing help with the essay process. Before every session he was well prepared with comments and suggestions for my essay. But what I really appreciated was that he did not just give me his changes, it was a collaborative process where he provided feedback and challenged me by asking questions. Eskor made what could have been stressful process an incredibly reassuring one.”

“[Stephen’s essays] are all wonderful writings crafted with care, bringing out the best of Stephen… I feel there is a lot that I would like to say to express my deepest thanks, but there are not enough proper words to capture my gratitude. It was a great pleasure working with you, and I hope we can do so again in the future. You are a gem.”
